Hermann Vetter grew up in Friesenheim. There, he was trained as a butcher - from the scratch. Other less ambitious characters would have left it at that. Hermann Vetter did not. He subsequently held positions in the commercial field, he was managing director of a reputable party service and catering company, before he went on to fill the leading position at Business Catering Freiburg together with his partner Michaela Quappe-Gemmert.
